"I rule my land's with a light fist. Wander as you will. And about that second part, well, we'll see then shall we?" His tail flicked and he turned to the side slightly, as his audits swiveled around and he looked momentarily away, out into the field. Seeing nothing he turned back and looked at the other again. "I haven't decided on a firm set of rules yet, but I will inform you when I do. " Saren smiled, and walked away to graze and let them settle their conversation.

Rain trted in slowly, emmiting a nicker of hope for a family, a herd. She was four, and ready to have a mate, in heat. She wanted a herd, more than anything else. She had the same story as any horse, a wonder, no herd, looking for one. They all did.
She had a beautiful persoanlity, going with her looks. She smiled, and waited for a reply to her vocal.

Sare threw his head up and looked up at the sky. It had begun to cloud over a bit. "Looks like rain, probably just a short spring shower." He called to Char, bringing his gaze back to regualr level. His audits flattened as lightning ripped through the sky and was closely followed by thunder. The first fat drops of rain hit his dark pelt that had been warmed by the sun previously. Not really caring he dropped his head and began to graze again.

Saren looked in the direction of a nicker, replying with a whinny. He pawed at the ground once, twice, then began grazing again.
At Charcoal's voice his head lifted again and he beckoned to the sky. 'Just telling you I thought it was going to rain," Just then a drop landed on his muzzle, "And I guess I was right." he chuckled, taking another bite of grass.

With the call, Rain troted up, a smile on her face. "Hello, Sir" She said, with a horse like bow, and when she came up, she blessed " I am Rain, seeking shelter on your lands." She siad.

As the mare approached Sare sighed and lifted his head once more, a smile on his face. "of course, shelter is granted. i'm Sarengeti, the king of this kingdom." his neck arched unconsiously, then his head dropped to graze again. He left the mare and Char to get aquanted.

The rain came down harder and faster, making small puddles in the ground. The stallion's dark coat began to steam as the cool water fell on his sun warmed back. His mane became stringy with moisture. sarengeti blew, shook and looked up at the two other mares. He nickered and trotted closer to them, then began to graze again. The rain ran down the tall grass, making his muzzle wet. Lightning ripped a hole in the sky., thunder shook the earth. Through all this the horse never flinched, just contentedly grazed on.

The nervous mare was startled by the lightning, but, never showed it. She merely kept her graze, and smiled, as she did so. Her name was Rain, why should I be scared of it, she thought.

Charcoal Summers felt Rain be a little uneasy at the lightning. She payed no attention to it and kept grazing.

The stallion shook his head to rid his dapened forelock of the rainwater that ran into his eyes. The final drop had fallen, and the sun came from behid it's grey cover. As the golden rays streamed across the field, htting the grasses and making them gltn and shine, a rainbow appeared directly over them. The stallion looked up at the marvelous sight, not blind to beauty. He nickered, unaware for a while of his surroundings. Rising up onto his hind legs and beating at the air with his fore legs, a powerful neigh rang out of his opened jaws. With a thud they landed back on the ground. Nostrils quivering his vivid pools looked around hurriedly. Then a saddened look came upon his visage and auits flattened. It was the same place, no mountain stream or rocky path. No faithful herd of sturdy mountain mustangs to follow him wherever he might desire. Instead only two mares stood before him, whether or not they were faithful was yet to be dicovered. And yet he made the best of it, looking upon them with a kind eye as his rainium dropped and he began to uproot the tnder shoots once more.

Sare snorted and shook his head to rid himself of the last drops of water. "Mm, yeas. Everything is fine." Nickering he turned and faced outwards at the few trees that dotted his land. Flicking an aud back at the others he stamped a rear hoof and said, "I'm going to take a short run, clear my mind some." Then off he trotted, quickening into a canter and finally an extended gallop. he circled the trees and came back towards them, stopping directly in his original spot, out of breath.
